Pathetic utterings

  • Oh you pathetic utterings,
  • How is it that you dare?
  • Dare to represent the whole of me,
  • my feelings and my cares.
  • As tho you really could express,
  • correctly every mood.
  • And mirror personalty,
  • faithfully and true.
  • The sum of me is more than known,
  • The whole of the complex,
  • Your words are quite inadequate,
  • i’ll not reveal my depths.

The Vision.

  • Sleep ordains the vision,
  •            at its will.
  • Nightly it dictates,
  •             My mind obeys.
  • Futile are my efforts,
  •              To impede.
  • powerless, relucent,
  •               I concede.
  • I ask ” What meaning  does,
  •               This vision have ?
  • Concealed  it’s purpose,
  •                The Images won’t tell.
  • Yet comes the night,
  •                 Once more the visions  spell.

Autumn’s Encore

  • Autumn is my favorite season,
  • Natures finest hour.
  • Kaleidoscope of colors then,
  • No rival can be found
  • The russel  and the  crackle 0f
  • The leafs that sacrificed ,
  • Their lives to beautify the paths,
  • We tread  to see their best.
  • The coolness of the air so crisp,
  • The early hours frost.
  • Renews our spirit and our soul.
  • anxieties forgot.
  • And even in the winter months, most bleak and dreary days
  • Call Autumn’s Encore from within,
  • To Bow on memories stage.

Bond of Love.

  • Love is the thing that Binds,
  •           The hearts from Soul to Soul.
  • Through the passage of time
  •             As our lives unfold.
  • In tlmes of strife and pain,
  •               Good memories remain.
  • Unknown what  the future Holds,
  •                 We’ll face it, tho were old.

    The  Children know.

    • What is real ?  The children know,
    •            A natural sense have they
    • As grownups talk, they …………listen
    •              They listen ……….every day.
    • They know more than ………we think they know
    •               They know more……….than …they say.
    • Not much gets past those little ears,
    •                 It’s ..silence they convey.
    • If we’re in sincere ,or falsify,  they know that act so well,
    •                  We wonder if we fooled them, But they will never tell.
    • They live a different life than ours,
    •                    They LISTEN. And they LEARN,
    • They know whats real  they know whats fake….
    •                      is it now our turn ?

    Right of passage.

    •  The sirens wail declares approach of Night,
    •          Now phantom peacefulness of day is pierced.
    • Eyes are cast, towards the fading light,
    •           The role of fear, performs, so well rehearsed.
    • The stewardship of day has passed the torch,
    •            Will the night  stay true to Deadly course.?
    • Brightly burns the flame of these young men,
    •               As specters of the streets, they claim their land.
    • Held hostage  are the small ones and the Great,
    •               The lawless ones,
    • have right of passage. Claimed .
